				The responsibilities of our volunteers are as varied as the individuals who seek to serve with us. We hope that you will consider supporting our agency efforts through one or more of the following activities.
				AGENCY/PROGRAM BASE* *requires completion of a Vulnerable Sector Screening from York Regional Police Activities Assistant – sports, board games, crafts Visitation/Mentoring Life Skill Instruction – cleaning, laundry, budgeting Board of Directors or Advisory Committees Guest Speakers Volunteer Drivers – appointments, AA meetings, driver/escort to community outings
				COMMUNITY BASED Agency Promotion - public speaking, booth staff Facility Sponsor Drives – i.e. Adopt A Room Donation Drives – items on shelter Crucial Needs List Food Drives Donation Retrieval – COSTCO, Starbucks Knitting – socks, afghans Movers – assist residents on moving day Mentor – individuals and families Fundraising/3rd Party Events – Car Wash, Garage Sale Activity Packages for Children Meal-A-Month – prepare and deliver a lunch or dinner
